Junior Architect

We are a small studio — eleven people — designing and building houses in and around Yogyakarta, with a second stream of work in Korea. We are looking for one junior architect.

The work

You would work on private houses from schematic design through to construction documentation, and go to site weekly. This is not a rendering-only role: you will draw details, price them, and then watch them get built, which is the fastest way to learn what actually works here.

What we are looking for

• A degree in architecture, and up to two years of experience — including none. We have hired straight out of university before.
• Fluent AutoCAD and SketchUp. Revit is a bonus, not a requirement.
• Bahasa Indonesia. English or Korean is useful given how the studio works, but is not a condition.
• Willingness to be on site in the mud and the rain.
