SJ Architect is the practice of PT SJA Group Indonesia, working across architecture, interior and construction from an office in Sleman, Yogyakarta.
The studio's work spans two contexts. In Korea, the practice has delivered public facilities, housing reconstruction and competition entries at every scale from a 475 m² care centre to apartment estates of several thousand units. In Indonesia, the focus is on private houses and villas built to a Korean standard of detail and documentation.
We work in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Korean, and we take a project from the first site visit through to handover.

Founder's Note
Hello, I'm Sungjin Cho, an architect.
After running my own architectural practice in Korea, I moved to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in July 2022.
With over 20 years of experience in architectural design and construction, I now specialise in designing and building custom homes in Yogyakarta.
By combining Korean design expertise with an understanding of Indonesia's local context, I strive to create homes that are functional, timeless, and tailored to each client's needs.
