Seongsu-dong Jangmi Apartment Reconstruction

Design development and technical services for the reconstruction of the Jangmi apartment estate in Seongsu-dong, Seoul — 286 units across 29,183 m² of floor area.

The work covered massing studies within the applicable floor-area and daylight regulations, unit-type development, and the technical documentation required for approval.

Seongsu-dong has changed faster than almost any district in Seoul over the past decade. The scheme tries to hold on to the estate's generous ground level — mature trees, through-routes used by neighbours — while meeting the density the reconstruction required.
